Frequently asked questions
How does the free trial work?
Pick any plan and enter your card details. You get 7 days free to test-drive Senderkit with up to 200 emails. After 7 days — or when you've sent 200 emails — your subscription activates and billing begins. Cancel anytime before then and you won't pay a thing.
What counts as an "email sent"?
Each individual email delivered to a recipient counts as one send. If you send a campaign to 1,000 subscribers, that's 1,000 emails.
Why do you need my card for the trial?
It helps us keep the platform fast and spam-free. You won't be charged during the trial, and you can cancel anytime from Settings with one click.
What happens when I reach my send limit?
Sending pauses until the next month starts. You can opt in to overage billing ($1.50/1K emails) with a spending cap you control — no surprise charges. Or upgrade to a higher plan anytime.
What are AI credits?
AI credits let you use Senderkit's built-in writing assistant — powered by Anthropic Claude. Each generation uses 1 credit. Credits reset monthly. You're never forced to use them — they're there when you want a hand.
What if I need more sends mid-month?
You can upgrade your plan anytime — the change takes effect immediately and you only pay the prorated difference. Or enable overage billing from Settings with a spending cap you control.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. No contracts, no cancellation fees. Cancel from Settings with one click. Your account stays active until the end of the billing period.
Do you charge per subscriber?
Never. Every plan includes unlimited contacts. You only pay for emails sent. Grow your list to 100K and your bill stays the same.
How does overage billing work?
Overage is OFF by default. You can opt in from Settings with a monthly spending cap you set (e.g. $10, $25, $50). When your cap is reached, sending pauses — no surprise bills.
Can I use Senderkit for transactional emails?
Yes — every plan includes full API access for transactional email (password resets, order confirmations, etc.). Generate an API key in Settings and use our REST API or official SDKs.
